Electronics Recycling and Drug Takeback - October 24, 2026

The City of Berkeley Lake will hold its annual electronics recycling and drug takeback event Saturday, October 24th, from 10 AM to noon, at City Hall. This year's event will include metal recycling. The metal and electronic recycling vendors will accept the following: TVs, printers, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, water heaters, microwaves, dishwashers, air conditioner units, metal signage, lawn mowers, gym equipment, junk cars, trailers, small aluminum or metal jon boats, car parts, piping, outdoor furniture, grills, car batteries, DVD players, VCRs, gaming systems, sink faucets and fittings, cabinet knobs, computers, wire, old cords and wiring. Flourescent bulbs, paint and construction materials will not be accepted. Offiers from Gwinett County Police Department will be on hand to receive the following for the drug takeback portion of the event - tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription and over-the-counter medications. Liquids, syringes or "sharps" and illicit drugs will not be accepted.
