The Berkeley Lake City Council does hereby announce that the millage rate will be set at a special called meeting to be held at City Hall, 4040 S Berkeley Lake Road on August 13, 2026 at 8:00PM and pursuant to the requirements of O.C.G.A. Section 48-5-32 does hereby publish the following presentation of the current year's tax digest and levy, along with a history of the tax digest and levy for the past 5 years.
As an example, for a home with a fair market value of $825,000 in 2025, the city property tax was $394.02. For a $825,000 home in 2026, the tax will be $389.07, which represents a 4.95% reduction in taxes year to year if the home is valued at the same amount in both years.
